SiriusXM Brought The “Chill” Vibes to Miami

by Jason Adamchak 1 month ago

SiriusXM is known for hosting the most exclusive and private party during Miami Music Week. It is so exclusive that you have to be personally invited to attend or sometimes by being a subscriber to their channels can get you a ticket to the event.

This year SiriusXM did something different then their traditional “Music Lounge” event. Instead of having a large stage on the beach sand at the 1 Hotel on South Beach they decided to take a more chill and laid back approach. SiriusXM’s “House of Chill” found its home at The Faena Hotel and featured performances by Kaskade, Above & Beyond, Nora En Pure, Autograf and Lost Frequencies.

The event had the perfect atmosphere of showing off the beautiful Miami beach in the background while the sun was setting. The stage was in the front and the beach in the back made for perfect Kodak moment. The hotel lobby was gorgeous and elegant and it made the walk to the event even better. The Pao Terrace is where the event was held and it created a true intimate vibe where it was close up and personable for people who were in attendance. It was easy to navigate through the crowd and there were plenty of areas to sit down and chill.

Each artist that played this event played chill tracks while keeping the house vibes well alive. Above & Beyond really stole the show by going deep and taking a step back from their traditional trance genre, which is what they are more known for. The two of them performed an Anjunadeep set and it was stunning. The tone for the event really felt more mature than the SiriusXM Music Lounge and the services offered were exceptional. A variety of servers were going around offering finger foods and the bartenders were helpful and super friendly. There were truly no bad vibes at all during the event and it was refreshing.

Thank you Carolina Dubón, who is a manager and handles public relations for SiriusXM. She truly made this new event feel right at home in Miami. The same old events get old after a while and it was a breath of fresh air to experience something different. This event highlighted more of what Miami has to offer and allowed artists to breakout of their comfort zone with music. The people at this event went above and beyond with the hospitality they offered. This event was one for the books and it was an honor to be there for the first edition of SiriusXM “House of Chill” and hopefully it makes its return next year.
