When you feel the need to explore and change it up, you go for it. It was no different for DJs Aeroplane and Purple Disco Machine, currently two of the most renowned producers in the business, who recently teamed up to deliver a solid dose of groove with their amazing melody-rich EP “Sambal”.

Released on the OG deep house label, Spinnin’ Records, “Sambal” is a stunning piece that converges both Aeroplane’s nu-disco influences and PDM’s deep funk sounds. A power duo, Aeroplane and PDM have been on the move for some years now, separately presenting their unique takes on deep house and always blessing us with exquisite tracks. Belgian DJ/producer Aeroplane, is a notable name in the nu-disco and Balearic house world, recently highlighted by his exciting side project with Alex Metric under the name Metroplane.

Purple Disco Machine, a German DJ/producer that has been releasing club hits since 2011, is the king of genre-blending music, always making sure his tracks get a worthy fix of funk, house and deep house. A classic at first hear, “Sambal” is the depiction of a sunny, golden day of summer with its captivating melody line and the undeniable tropical house vibe. Chasing away the winter blues, PDM explains the inspiration that brought the producers to a warmer place,

“Vito and I had been admirers of each others music for a while and it was great when our managers hooked us up to make a collaboration together this year. Vito came to my studio in Dresden in the cold German spring and we thought about a sun soaked Balearic anthem for the coming summer.”

A backyard grilling, summertime-fun tune, “Sambal” has already received the love and support of many DJs including big names such as Tensnake, MK, Claptone, Claude VonStroke, Sam Feldt, EDX, Bob Sinclair and many more. Currently streaming on Soundcloud and Spinin’ Record’s website, make sure to click play on the bubbly track that is already becoming this summer’s deep house anthem.
